welcome. i'm gemma, or nibbles, and this is my photolog. i also maintain a real blog, which may or may not give context to these pictures.
let it be known that i am not a photographer, per se. i purchased a digital camera in april 2004 (may? march?), and true to my geek heritage, i like to play with my toys. i claim absolutely no knowledge of artistic composition, or artistry in general. if you see something you particularly like (*cough* or dislike), by all means, leave me a note. i'm interested. if you are a photographer and feel moved to dispense (free) advice, i'll be most appreciative.
most of these images have undergone minimal photoshopping, generally to correct contrast (and occasionally color). it's a nice camera, just not a perfect one.
